1. Have You Made These 3 Blunders in 2006?
==========================================================

There’s less than a day to say goodbye to 2006.

In looking back at this year, I’ve noticed that I made the
following 3 mistakes that may sound familiar to you:

A. Starting a ton of different projects without specific focus

Doing that is a major reason why we get “information overload”

The ability to say no to the new exciting stuff that spring
about all the time in Internet Marketing circles is key to
controlling this phenomenon.

Don’t get me wrong, I buy stuff all the time, however
shifting gears and jumping from opportunity to opportunity
is what we should control.

B. Working on projects that you have no control over

I was listening to the local news and some farmers were
complaining that the government did not send pesticides
on time, so their whole crop was devastated.

Wow! Talk about having no control.

In our little virtual world, ironically, things are not
that much different.

If you choose to be at anyone’s mercy then your business
can disappear in the blink of an eye.

Choose a business that gives you as much control as possible.

C. Wasting time on “research”/forums

This is a big one. If you are working online then you
must discipline yourself.  You need to have a schedule
of doing specific tasks that bring in profit, and work
at those tasks, vehemently opposing any distractions
whether that’s called “my friend wants to go for a
coffee” or “I need to visit my favorite forum” or
“I need to learn this new thing”.

I have tons of new ebooks, physical books by Dan Kennedy
and Jay Abraham etc and I used to justify to myself that
“hey I’m learning marketing so it’s ok to not work for
a while and just read.”

I guess our era is called the “Information Age” for a
reason.  We can never stop learning. And learning is
awesome, but so are profit activities.

Therefore, I have tried to discipline myself to only
“learn new stuff” after 6 p.m. when I finish work :)

1. Case study: What I’ve Done With a PLR Package
===================================

Since I’ve promoted a couple of PLR packages lately I thought
I should go over how I have used a PLR package myself to
create a viral marketing machine, which brings in subscribers
and passive income on autopilot.
Here it is in 5 easy steps:

1. I bought the complete PLR package you will see in a moment
and I set up a domain, giving the 15 niche products away:
http://www.freenichemarketing.com
(make sure you have the rights to sell/give away the products)

2. I used viral pdf to make the ebooks rebrandable:
http://www.imsuccessguide.com/viralpdf-software.html
3. I used easyclickmate to get the affiliate marketing capability
so that other people can refer others to the package and start
the viral marketing rolling:
http://www.imsuccessguide.com/easyclickmate-software.html
4. When someone subscribes they see a one time offer for $47
to get the rebranding rights to the package, which is packed
with over 200 Clickbank affiliate programs.

5. If they don’t get the one time offer, they can get the
branding rights later for $67 from within the ebooks.
So there you have it…

You can have one time offer type of sites, similar to the
ones created with the $1500 Butterfly marketing scripts,
with only the above 2 tools (easyclickmate and viralpdf).
Note: Don’t buy my package from any of the above 2 offers because
I have a 48 hour special for my subscribers only! Read below.
======================================
2. 48 Hour Sale - Viral Marketing Branding Rights
======================================

Ok, here’s the 48 hour special price… You can get the
rebranding rights I mentioned above for about 1/3 of the
actual price, but only for the next 48 hours:
==> http://www.freenichemarketing.com/48hours-special.htm

If you realize the power of marketing, then I don’t need
to say anything else to convince you… you already know
that when I say the offer is only for 48 hours and the
page is pulled, I mean it, so do it before I pull the plug:

P.S Don’t forget, the branding rights’ sale is
only available for 48 hours, and then it’s back
to the regular prices… no exceptions.

So hopefully you are reading this before the
sale is over:

1. Autopilot Niche Marketing Profits
==================================================

When people see the word “autopilot” they automatically
think about biz opp schemes, pie in the sky, matrices and
all those “wonderful” stuff.

I have found that if you don’t do something that adds value
to someone’s life, then your reward is short-lived, since
your revenue will not be sustainable for very long.

In my case here, autopilot means you do the work once
and it continues working for you for years to come
with no additional work.

In the past couple of newsletter issues I’ve been telling
you to look beyond the internet marketing niche, and go
into niche marketing.

Here’s the newsletter back issue for finding niches:
http://www.myonlinebizsecrets.com/archives/22

Ok, now that you have found your hot niche, you can do
3 different things with it:

a. Promote affiliate programs

b. Create an adsense site

c. Create your own info-product to sell to that niche

You can do one or all of the above.  However, whatever
you do, the constant has to be…. you guessed it…
building a list for the niche.

I don’t want to sound like a parrot, telling you to build
a list, but growing a list is like growing an asset.

Humor me for a minute and think of this step by step
scenario:

1. you pick a niche

2. you find related affiliate programs for the niche

3. you find plr articles/ebooks/reports or write them
yourself, or hire someone from elance.com to write them
for you.

4. you set up a squeeze page, which gives away the report

5. when they submit the form they are being redirected
to a related affiliate program

6. you prefill that list with 50 messages that go out every
week - you are growing multiple niche lists and you have
a virtual salesman that does the work for you for a whole
year!
The messages can include product reviews, tips, and articles
related to the niche, with links to your affiliate programs
and/or adsense sites.
I’ve been doing that for a while but I ran into a small problem.

You see there are only so many interesting niches that one can
like.  After a while, although the niche topics are lucrative,
they might not be of interest to you….

So how do you come up with 50 messages to prefill your
autoresponder sequence?

I found a tool that helps you do exactly that:
http://www.imsuccessguide.com/instant-niche-emails

I don’t know about you but I’m very excited about the endless
possibilities you have with the 6 step approach above,
combined with this tool.

The best of all is that with this approach you can

- start doing it and see results immediately (since you are
doing affiliate programs and you don’t have to create the
product yourself)

- you can figure out which markets pull the most and build
adsense sites and create infoproducts around them
I have personally seen great results with the 6 step approach,
and until now, I was doing the autoresponder messages manually.

Now in about an hour I have 52 messages that can do the selling
for me for 1 whole year.

You have no idea how excited I am about this one. And I mean
this literally. You know I’m not using hype in my newsletter,
and when you use this tool yourself, you’ll see why I’m
raving about this product:

P.S I usually don’t promote anything that forces my visitors
to enter their name and email to see the sales page, but the
whole concept of this product is exactly that (getting the
email and following up). Therefore, don’t be put off by the
squeeze page. You’ll thank me later:

1. Answers To Your Questions
===============================================

Thanks everyone for the feedback!

The response was great so I’d rather answer the
most common questions in this newsletter, like I
promised, and talk about traffic next week.

Ok, without further ado, here are the most common
questions…

1. How do I create an ebook? There are tons of
options,and I’m confused.

The simplest way, which is how I do it too, is to
write out everything in Word and then convert it
into pdf.

The ideal solution is to have Adobe Acrobat, but
that one is quite expensive, so you can use the
free software:

http://www.pdf995.com

and edit your links with

http://www.software995.com

More analytically in this ebook:
http://www.imsuccessguide.com/create-ur-own-ebook.zip

2. Who do I believe in Internet marketing?
Everyone seems to be bending the truth…

Whatever the case might be, you should be
learning from other marketers. There are some
marketers that I follow because I agree with
them on almost everything and there are some
with whom I don’t agree much, but I still follow
because they are successful.

What I mean is, be open minded, and be willing to
learn from other marketers by observing what they
do, even when you don’t agree with all their
methods.

3. How do I find a hot niche?

Here are some resources to find tons of niches:

http://pulse.ebay.com/ (drill down by category)

right click and “save target as”
http://pages.ebay.com/sellercentral/hotitems.pdf
(hot item report)

http://www.google.com/press/zeitgeist.html

http://www.shopping.com/top_searches
Related keywords for your search term:

http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/

4.How do I know my product will sell?

In direct marketing, we know that when an ad runs
over and over it means it’s profitable.

Therefore, when you find a niche with a lot of
advertisers, and high bid prices, then it means
that your target market is spending money.

You can find how many advertisers there are for
your search term, along with their bids here:
http://uv.bidtool.overture.com/d/search/tools/bidtool/index.jhtml

5. How do I find the fine balance between a hot
niche and an overcrowded one?

Actually competition should be seeked, not
avoided. You should avoid competition if you
are optimizing for a specific keyword by
selecting lower searched keywords, but when it
comes to picking a market, then there should be
competition.

Otherwise, who are you going to be joint
venturing with, what related affiliate programs
are you going to be promoting etc

6. What’s wrong with Internet marketing?
Giveaways, blogs, tons of information…
What do I do?

Don’t worry about what’s going on with
internet marketing.

It’s a cut throat market with tons of
competition, but you can learn lots of stuff
and apply them in non-internet marketing
niches, and dominate them.
Instead of not doing anything due to
analysis-paralysis, I suggest you start
doing. Learn as you go but take
action.

Here’s an article I wrote about infomation
overload:
http://www.myonlinebizsecrets.com/archives/15

7. I bought lots of private label rights’
products. How do I market them?

The biggest mistake I once made was to buy a
product which had master resale rights and try
to sell it at the regular price.
Authors give resale rights to their products so
they can circulate them with their website and
affiliate links in them.

As soon as something is being sold with master
resale rights, it gets devalued because there
are many people who are willing to sell them
for pennies, instead of the regular price.

However, that can be a blessing to you. Make
that work for you.

Here’s an example of what I do with private
label rights.

1. Created a big package that I’m selling at
http://www.yourprivatelabelrights.com

2. Created a viral ebook giveaway package,
which is building my email list virally at:
http://www.plrfortunes.com/

3. Used some of the content, mixed with my
thoughts and views about marketing, to
build a huge internet marketing site at:
http://www.imsuccessguide.com

4. Created and constantly creating viral ebooks,
which I distribute here:
http://www.ebookcashgenerator.com/unannounced-bonuses.htm
(you are free to download them)

and get lots of traffic to my websites and
affiliate links, while building my list at
the same time.

Finally, it’s also the fastest way to create
your own products but you have to mix it with
your own information, and definitely create
different covers than the ones you get, if
you want to create an actual product, instead
of a viral one.
