I Know What’s Stopping You From Succeeding
No I’m not a prophet, nor a psychic. I simply know because I
have been fighting this “evil power” for a very long time.
By following my suggestions in this newsletter I guarantee the
way you do business will improve dramatically.
This blog post is not peppered with affiliate links.
I don’t want you to feel that I’m trying to sell you because I
know this information will help you tremendously. By helping you
I believe you will remember me, since most of the other list owners
only send sales pitches.
“You can get anything you want in life if you help enough people
get what they want.” — Zig Ziglar
I haven’t written you in a while. I’ve been busy working on
various aspects of my online biz. I’ve been guilty in the past for
what I am about to be ranting for today.
Let me explain. Although, it’s a good idea to diversify your biz
and earn multiple streams of income, there are many traps associated
with this.
I will try a wild guess that the main problem you are facing is not
that you are lacking ideas, but it’s that you have way too many and
you don’t know where to start.
Good old…… Information Overload
and information overload has cousins: procrastination, lack of drive
and motivation, laziness and the list goes on. Basically, what happens
when we get information overload is that we’d rather deal with
something more pleasant for the moment, like checking our email,
checking with our favorite forum, day dream about our latest idea
etc etc.
This is called “avoiding pain through procrastination”.
At the end of the day, we get nothing done. I’m saying we
because as I said earlier, I too have been through the same phase.
And you know what, the battle against information overload never
stops.
As Napoleon Hill says: “the mind is like a garden, in which weeds
will grow in abundance, if the seeds of more desirable crops are
not sown therein”
Ok, now that we have identified this evil power here’s a simple
plan to keep fighting it, until it’s so weak that it cannot harm
you anymore.
Since I don’t want to cause you information overload, in my
effort to teach you how to avoid information overload (can you
see the irony here?), I will simply outline the steps.
If you want more info on them, with my own case studies and
links to tools and resources that I use and which can accelerate
your progress in what I talk about here, then you can get it
through my free ecourse:
http://www.myonlinebizsecrets.com/info-overload-ecourse.html
1.Take stock of your skills - you don’t need to be a tech expert, but you
do need to have at least some website editing knowledge.
2.Don’t give control of your biz to anyone - Paypal, Ebay, Google
Adsense, multi-level-mktg, matrices, search engine marketing.
Some of these are extremely lucrative, but if you are relying on
them solely, without a backup plan, then you are building castles
on sand.
3.Assess the market before choosing a product - The most
common mistake is to find a product and then try to generate
demand for it.
4.Once you have found a lucrative market, with customers who
are spenders and have an insatiable demand focus on it. Automate
almost all tasks associated with the product you are selling for that
market, and place it in your marketing funnel. Only then move to the
next product.
5.Have a notebook next to you at all times - Write down each day’s
date and every time you think of or see somewhere a great idea that
you want to implement, then write it down. Then carry on with step 4.
This will allow you to focus and will keep all your ideas for future
projects safely recorded, to be reviewed later.
6.Wash, rinse and repeat.
As I said earlier, each step above is an ebook by itself, but I have
managed to squeeze them in my free ecourse, which expands
on each point.
It’s divided in digestible chunks so that you won’t be overwhelmed:

That’s all for today. If you liked this blog post, or if you want to
tell me about a challenge with Internet marketing you are facing
that I have not address, then feel free to leave a comment.
I’d love to hear from you.
Have a great day.
To your focused online ventures,
Stelios Eleftheriou
P.S I sincerely believe that what is holding most people back from
succeeding is fear of failure and not believing that THEY will succeed.
This video will help you out with that tremendously:

[…] Here’s an article I wrote about infomation overload: http://www.myonlinebizsecrets.com/archives/15 7. I bought lots of private label rights’ products. How do I market them? The biggest mistake I once made was to buy a product which had master resale rights and try to sell it at the regular price. Authors give resale rights to their products so they can circulate them with their website and affiliate links in them. […]
